A Brief History

Ferncliff Mausoleum

Ferncliff Mausoleum

In 1927, the we constructed our first mausoleum, Ferncliff Mausoleum (also known as the Cathedral of Memories). This mausoleum has been expanded over the years as space needs increased. In 1933, we began to operate a crematory within the premise of the Ferncliff Mausoleum. For the past 80 years, Ferncliff has provided quality cremation services. We currently perform approximately 10% of all cremations in New York State.
